Being a member of Cedar Falls Mennonite Church means, for me, that I can enter into an intellectual and spirit-minded culture devoted to serving Jesus by serving the world. We have our priorities in line of: openness, welcome, care, concern, and justice. Most importantly, we're a peace church, which means we're creative in our approach to handling life--whereas creativity in our world is not as obvious and not popular since it takes time and energy to brainstorm new ways of thinking and doing and living. This faithful approach to living a Christ-centered life means trusting in the power of the Holy Spirit and how it moves in and through our congregation.
That's just the deep stuff...
Cedar Falls Mennonite Church is a modest community of people who welcome me no matter what I wear, no matter my past, no matter my convictions. They are my family. They have blessed me and my family beyond measure. The worship is important, the music refreshing, and the fellowship invaluable.
