Annual Retreat September 12 & 13th annual church retreat at Pine Lake Church of the Brethren Camp. All welcome to join us as we celebrate the life of our fellowship. There will be NO Cedar Falls service that Sunday.
Picnic Sunday On Sunday September 20th we will enjoy a potluck picnic and barbeque at the home of Kris Pond-Burtis.
Sabeel Conference On October 8-10 Cedar Falls Mennonite Church will join with the Peace and Justice Center of the Cedar Valley and other sponsors to host a conference at UNI to explore Palestinian issues in the Middle East.

Christian education

Sunday school for all ages begins Sept. 20th. If you are interested in teaching, contact a Christian Education Committee member. The adults will study "Agreeing and Disagreeing in Love." The class would ideally be co-taught by 2-3 people and be focused on learning and practicing the church's process for difficult conversations. Based on the popularity of the singing class last spring, we are considering having a singing class one evening a month. If you are interested, talk to Katheryn.
